The Guild Of Indigenous Arts

Regalia Night

Every Monday a group of community members come together to learn how to make regalia and support one another in the process of designing and creating their own regalia. Often our elders are coming out to make regalia for their grandkids, other times our youth even attend to learn with their parents or grandparents. This is a class for all ages with the interest to learn how to make their own regalia

Social Enterprise - Crafts Night

Every Thursday night our guild of indigenous arts group meets to learn and participate in craft night. We invite indigenous artists out to our community on Chippewas of the Thames First Nation to teach our community about various indigenous arts, and crafts. Some of the classes we have done are: Hand Drum Making, Drum Bag Making, Moccasin Making, Baby Mocs, Bone Chokers & Bracelets, Beaded Earrings, Beaded Lanyards, Brick Stitch Barrettes, Medicine Pouches, Leather Stamping, Key chains & Lighter Cases, Acrylic Painting
